IN-HOME CONSULTATION Contact us about your project and we will set up a no cost, no obligation,
in-home consultation / measurement appointment. We will discuss your ideas
and offer some of our own, while gathering information about you, your budget,
and the architectural style of your home. If you have collected any pictures
from magazines or have compiled a wish list for the project, we would love
to see them. We will give you a DESIGN SURVEY to fill out,
which will later help us determine more of your specific needs and, in turn,
aid us in the design process. We will give you a DESIGN CONTRACT to
look over. When you have completed the DESIGN SURVEY, you
return it to us and we will develop a preliminary design concept and project
estimate, and set up a second meeting to review these with you.
When you decide that you want HearthWood Kitchens to move forward with designing your project, you will be assessed a design fee which can be applied to the cost of the cabinetry you purchase from us. If you only want us to provide design services for your project, our designer will meet with you up to 4 times as we progress through the details toward the final design plan. When the design phase is complete, we will supply you with a copy of the final DESIGN PLANS, including the floor plan, elevations, and perspectives. Our design service includes helping you in your selection of appliances, countertops, cabinet styles and finishes, flooring, light fixtures, faucets, cabinet knobs and pulls, paint colors, etc. Other design services we can offer you include designing a LIGHTING PLAN, and also designing a BACKSPLASH TILE LAYOUT for your kitchen.
If HearthWood Kitchens will be supplying the cabinetry for your project, you will receive a CABINETRY PRICE QUOTE from us that will include the cabinets, accessories, trims, and installation.
When HearthWood Kitchens is completing the entire project for you, we will present you with a comprehensive PROJECT PROPOSAL which includes all the necessary permits, tear-out, construction, labor, and materials that we would provide to bring your project to completion. It may also include allowances for specific items you will need for the project but may wish to purchase on your own. This proposal will be the basis of the CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT you will be given. When that document is signed, we can determine a start date for the project. Depending on the scope of your project, the payment schedule can be divided into 2 to 4 payments. HearthWood Kitchens will coordinate the entire remodeling process from start to finish, which will insure that the project progresses as smoothly and quickly as possible, and that there are no communication gaps.
